Thanksgiving Dinner is just around the corner and we’ve gathered easy recipe ideas perfect for your feast. From roasted turkey to mashed potatoes, stuffing, sides, pumpkin pie, desserts, and more.

But first, here’s a brief overview of how I prep the feast.
Thanksgiving Dinner Prep Schedule
Here’s my basic schedule for Thanksgiving week:
Sunday
- Clean out the fridge
- Make a grocery list and shop for ingredients
- Reorganize fridge with all the ingredients
Monday:
- Make thecranberry sauceand refrigerate until Thursday
Tuesday
- Make the basil mint topping for theCharred Carrots with Herbs and refrigerate until Thursday
- Cut the bread into cubes for theClassic Stuffing for Thanksgivingor the Cornbread for the Simple Cornbread Dressing; let sit on the counter overnight to harden.
Wednesday:
- Prep all vegetables; onions, celery, carrots, brussels sprouts, butternut squash, etc.
- Make the Pumpkin Pie or the No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake (or any other desserts)
- Prep salad ingredients including greens and dressing. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
- Set the table and designate platters and serving pieces for dishes.
Thursday:
Morning
- Prep the Roasted Turkey and begin roasting.
- Assemble the salads and refrigerate.
- Assemble theThanksgiving Cheese Boardand cover with a towel. Leave at room temperature.
Before the Feast
- Cook the vegetables; including potatoes for mashed potatoes.
- Bake the stuffing and dressing.
- Warm the rolls.
- Carve the turkey, reserve the drippings for gravy and place on an oven-proof platter – pop back into a 200 degree oven to keep warm before serving.
