How Does This Pity Mechanism Work In Diablo 4 Season 4? (2024)

  • Which Class Is Your Best Bet For Endgame Victory In Diablo 4 Season 4? - Class Tier List

For players, choosing the class that is more suitable for them in the game is a big dilemma. Because the class choice is the most important decision, a player will make, it will affect every way they interact with the game. Therefore, this guide will give you direction on choosing the class in the game based on leveling difficulty, ability to farm end-game content, boss fight viability, and build diversity.

All classes in Diablo 4 Season 4 are viable and can reach level 50 and complete end-game content without encountering too much challenge. But the changes to Diablo 4 items, crafting, and world events in Loot Reborn have fundamentally changed the class rankings. While all classes in Loot Reborn have generally become stronger, certain classes are still ranked higher than others.

Although the meta in Loot Reborn is still being explored by players and has not yet been finalized, current information has given some indications about how the rankings may eventually look. Let’s take a look at which classes are more worth choosing!

    5. Sorcerer

Sorcerer is by far the best ranged choice for Diablo 4 players since the game’s release. Of the classes listed in this guide, Sorcerer is the best class for rushing to level 50 quickly.

Between the various elemental magics, Fire, Ice, and Lightning damage all provide very useful build paths that are fairly simple for new players. Specialized builds such as Chain Lightning and Fire Sorcerer provide excellent AoE damage that can clear dungeons and encounters at an incredible speed.

Despite Sorcerer’s excellent AoE damage, it is inevitable that there are disadvantages. Survivability and single target damage are two important factors in end-game activities, especially against bosses and Uber bosses.

Due to Sorcerer’s low health, the end-game survivability of this class is the major problem. This class also has little room for error in the more difficult boss fights. Therefore, if used alone, Sorcerer players may have a hard time in the endgame.

While some builds have been able to keep up with end-game content, such as Ball Lightning, few Sorcerer builds have strayed away from AoE damage. As a result, Sorcerer is a great addition to any team if they have teammates.

    4. Rogue

In Season 4, Rogue has shifted towards its ranged options, prioritizing Barrage, Penetrating Shot, and similar options. No build can match the strength of Rogue in the past, and even Twisting Blades builds, one of the strongest builds ever in Diablo 4, has been nerfed.

Despite Rogue’s shift towards its ranged options, melee builds are still a viable option for this versatile class, but you can expect it to deal much less damage than last season. It also has relatively weak health pools compared to Barbarian and Druid. Rogue players in Diablo 4 will start to feel the limitations of their class as they reach end-game content, similar to Sorcerer.

Rogue avoids the bottom of the pack with excellent single-target damage and easily levels up from level 1 to 50, but is nowhere near as good as higher ranked classes. Rogue players also have a harder time farming end-game content such as Helltides due to their lack of strong AoE abilities.

You can use Diablo 4 Gold to help Rogue level up and improve its combat capabilities.

    3. Barbarian

For players just starting out in Diablo 4, Barbarian is very accessible. Despite the fact that the class has been nerfed so much that it has fallen off the charts, Barbarian’s health, single-target damage, and area damage options are powerful tools that allow players to thrive in Diablo 4’s main story and most of the add-on game options.

Hammer of the Ancients and Charge builds that dominated Season 3 have been thoroughly buried. Players have generated several new viable options to replace Hammer of the Ancients build. Double Swing Dust Devil is a powerful build that can wipe out end-game content with a tornado that deals sustained damage. Bash build can deal equally devastating area damage when paired with Tempering Affix.

Recent nerfs balance out the melee class abilities that Season 4 may have over-tuned. As Developer has been working hard to develop other often-overlooked classes, Barbarian is far from a bad class.

    2. Druid

Druid is a class that can easily turn players off. On the one hand. This class is difficult to get started with. On the other hand, this class is very slow to level up. Even during this long leveling process, Druid offers a lot of build options, but there is also the problem of fast farming plot and end-game content before level 100.

If you can make it to the end of the game with a Druid, then you have one of the best Diablo classes ever.

While Druid has both melee and caster options, its morphing components are better than ever and are easily the most popular build option at the moment.

Tornado Werewolf Druids are only rivaled by Hammer of Ancients Barbarians from Season 3. This incredible build has screen-clearing damage capabilities and has long been one of the best builds in Diablo 4.

Additionally, Druid’s survivability is excellent, with plenty of shields, healing, and other defensive options. Whether it’s fighting an Uber Boss alone or clearing a Nightmare dungeon, few classes can do a better job than Druid.

    1. Necromancer

In Season 4, minions received a base damage increase, along with a stun effect, meaning minions will be doing most of the work for this caster class. The moment developers decided to buff Necromancer’s army of minions, the class’s priority quickly rose.

The class’s core function, summons, is more powerful than ever and has few rivals. This makes it hard to believe that Necromancer was once the worst class in Diablo 4.

However, the class is not the best for leveling, and Bone Necromancers are easily one of the weakest individual builds in the game.

In addition to summons, Blood and Corpse Explosion builds are also better than ever for clearing early and end-game content. If you choose to test Skeleton Army Calling build, you will quickly transform Diablo 4 from an action-adventure game to an RTS, taking control of any battlefield.

If you have never played Necromancer in Diablo 4, or have avoided it due to the early weaknesses of this profession, now is the time to experience it.

Through these professions introduced in this guide, you have learned about the upgrade difficulty, the ability to farm endgame content, the feasibility of boss battles, and the diversity of construction. I believe you must have your favorite career choice, go and experience your game journey!

  • How To Quickly Craft An Uber Unique Of Your Choice In Diablo 4 Season 4? - Resplendent Sparks Farming Guide

In this guide, I want to talk about the easiest ways to get Resplendent Sparks, and how you can get Uber Unique items, such as Harlequin Crest, through these methods.

As you probably already know, if you have 4 Resplendent Sparks at an Alchemist, you can craft any Uber Unique item. So the purpose of this guide is to introduce you to the different possible ways to get Resplendent Sparks, so that you can find the method that works best for you. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it!

    Gathering 4 Resplendent Sparks

Again, you’ll need 4 total to craft this Uber Unique of your choice.

    Killing Tormented Bosses

The first Resplendent Sparks comes from the first Tormented Boss you kill. These are level 200 bosses that are much tougher to deal with than their lower-level counterparts. What’s more, summoning them not only requires 3 times as many materials but also 2 Stygian Stones.

In my opinion, the weakest Tormented Boss is Lord Zir, so if you want to try to take on one of these bosses and win a Spark, consider him. Unfortunately, you can only get this Resplendent Spark once, no matter how many characters you level up.

    Defeat Uber Lilith

The second Resplendent Spark comes from killing Uber Lilith for the first time. Don’t underestimate it, this endgame is much more difficult than previous seasons, but it’s easy to find a stronger character to help you get through the encounter and get some Diablo 4 Gold.

I once encountered a bug here, where we didn’t get a Resplendent Spark as a reward when we killed Lilith. But don’t worry, this problem has been fixed recently.

Again, this Spark can only be obtained once, no matter how many characters you kill Uber Lilith with.

    Grind Iron Wolves Reputation

The third Resplendent Spark comes from Iron Wolves Reputation. As you kill monsters and complete events in Helltide, you’ll unlock different tiers of caches at Iron Wolf Camp, the last of which contains a Resplendent Spark.

It’s worth noting that Iron Wolves Reputation grinding can be done once per character, so this is also a potential source of infinite Sparks. We’ll go into more tips on this farming method later.

    Salvaging Uber Unique Item

The fourth way to get a Resplendent Spark is by looting and salvaging an Uber Unique item.

You can get these Diablo 4 items randomly from any monster, though the drop chance is very low. You can also get them from summoned bosses, like Varshan and Beast in Ice, with slightly higher chances. Of course, the best way to get them is from Duriel and Andariel, with a 2% chance per kill. This chance increases if you kill Tormented Boss.

Really, only Duriel and Andariel can be targeted for farming Uber Unique items, as the drop chances from other bosses are very low.

The meta seems to be fighting Tormented version of Duriel, as it is much easier than Andariel.

Even though these are the only sources of Resplendent Spark, you can cheat the system by recognizing that two of them are duplicates. This means you can get 4 Uber Uniques from Duriel. You can salvage them to get a Resplendent Spark, then craft an Uber of your choice. Be warned, though, that this requires quite a bit of luck.

The same is true for Iron Wolf quest-line. You can level up multiple characters, max out Iron Wolves Reputation on each, and you’ll be able to get one Spark for each maxed reputation. This method requires no luck, just grinding.

    Farming Tips

In summary, my suggestions for the quickest or easiest way to get an Uber Unique item are as follows: Kill a Tormented Boss to get 1 Spark. Then max out your main character’s Iron Wolves Reputation to get the second Spark.

Then, for the remaining 2 Sparks, you have a few options:

First, I highly recommend using your summoning materials and Stygian Stones to get into a group that takes turns summoning and killing Uber Duriel. You might get lucky and get an Uber Unique item that you can salvage. If you like collecting summoning materials and killing bosses, you can repeat this step infinitely until you get 4 Sparks.

If your character is strong enough, or you have a powerful friend who can help you, kill Uber Lilith so you can get a free Spark.

If none of the above methods work for you, and you like leveling up trumpets, leveling up several trumpets in Helltide and grinding Iron Wolves Reputation with all of them is also a good option.

This way, you can actually get an unlimited amount of Uber Unique items if you’re willing to put in the time and effort. I recommend checking out our Iron Wolves Reputation farming guide to minimize the pain.

That’s it! Hopefully, this information will help you get Uber Unique you need as quickly as possible. Do you have any better suggestions? See you next time!

  • The May 28th, 2024 Patch for Diablo 4 has been released. Although this update apparently breaks some things in the game, don’t panic. We will discuss the solutions for the update and the detailed interpretation of this patch.

    The Quality Of Life Patch

The first is the addition of the enchantment window, which now clearly states that you can’t re-roll into a Greater Affix. In addition, Diablo 4 Gold Costs will be reduced, such as:

    • Rank 1-4: Unchanged
    • Rank 5: reduced from 450,000 to 400,000
    • Rank 8: reduced from 1,000,000 to 800,000
    • Rank 12: reduced from 10,000,000 to 2,500,000.

And now, Masterworking materials can be transferred directly without requiring the opening of a Materials Cache to receive them.

The game will also make it clearer what Armor is, and will tell you that you need 9230 Armor to minimize damage from enemies at level 100 and above. In this update, you need Scattered Prisms in order to add sockets to jewelry.

These Scattered Prisms are already dropping at a high rate. Treasure Goblins have an increased chance of being dropped in all World Tiers. World Bosses will also drop Scattered Prisms all the time, and in large quantities. In addition, Butcher, a pretty iconic Diablo surprise boss, will also drop Scattered Prisms during your fight.

    The UI Patch

Besides some changes to skills and Diablo 4 items, there are also some slight changes to the game interface. When comparing items, two items will be placed side by side, which will be a little clearer visually. Then there are a lot of bug fixes, most of which are about interface clarity and in-game user interface issues. It seems that Blizzard is listening to users’ suggestions. For example, we fixed some skills that you could not search for by a core in the skill tree.

Another issue that many players complained about but still found interesting was that when you leave Helltide, it will automatically return. During this time, it will continue to spawn Monsters, which will accumulate in the team, so players need to spend a lot of time to deal with these Monsters. Fortunately, this problem has been fixed.

The invisible wall problem that has been bothering players for a long time has also been fixed. It also fixed the problem that players felt trapped in Pit before. After this patch, you can use Ruin Shards to leave Pit.

There was a bug in the game that Blizzard has acknowledged. When players go to Blacksmith with Masterworking, they are told that they cannot use Masterworking. This patch also proposes a solution, which is to allow running any Pit level or transferring some materials to unlock Masterworking again.

    The Gameplay Patch

Besides the above-mentioned problems, another controversial part of the patch notes is Bash Barbarians. If you go to the official website and read the patch notes carefully, you will find that Bash Barbarians are not included. Even when you scroll down to Skills or Class Mechanics, you can’t find the description of Bash Barbarians. But don’t worry, Bash Barbarians have not been weakened.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this patch. I am happy to see that they continue to listen to players’ suggestions, and I am also happy that they are constantly improving the definition of tooltips because of the community’s questions about tooltips.

For example, Frigid Fate. According to the information, Frigid Fate will cause additional damage to vulnerable enemies, which is 10% of your own additional damage. But the code shows a maximum of 30%, so when a player enters PVP combat mode, everyone sees and calculates different maximum damage, which causes errors.

Now there are a lot of keyboard warriors arguing that I am not a mathematician and can’t really calculate the available damage. So regardless of the current public opinion, Blizzard has begun to make changes. So I am very happy to see that there are many UI and tooltip related fixes in the game in this patch.

For now, this is the most fun I have played since the release of Diablo 4. In Season 4, I am determined to play multiple characters to level 100! This is not my usual way of playing games, which also shows that the joy brought by Season 4 is unparalleled. And I have defeated all Uber bosses with my Core Druid, especially Uber lilith is now pushing the construction of Masterworking parts in Pit!

Speaking of Druids, if you have problems with Boer Hurricane Bill when you try to run it, don’t worry, there is a way to fix it in this patch.

In my opinion, the game is fun as long as its core keeps looping. So I believe players will also hope that Blizzard will pay attention to improving the quality of life and eliminating more annoying things when adding more new content in the future.

These are some instructions in this patch, and we are looking forward to the season update in a few months. I wish you a merry game!

  • Follow These Tips To Help You Unlock All Wolf’s Honor Rewards In Diablo 4 Season 4

As always, the arrival of each new season brings a brand new progression system, and in Loot Reborn it is Wolf’s Honor. It is related to the new Iron Wolves mercenary group that you will fight alongside in the major story.

By increasing your status in this group, you will obtain many rewards, including Diablo 4 unique items and some legendary weapons, to help you defeat all the terrible enemies in Diablo 4.

But if you are currently unclear about how to do this and are looking for guidance, then this complete guide on how to quickly obtain Wolf’s Honor in Diablo 4 must be for you.

How To Advance The Progress Of Wolf’s Honor?

There is currently only one way to obtain Wolf’s Honor in Diablo 4, and that is to participate in the various Helltide events that take place throughout Sanctuary. When Helltide is active, it will be marked in red on the map.

During these events, killing normal monsters will earn you one Wolf’s Honor, while taking out elite monsters will earn you five to ten, and defeating Hellborn that appears at the highest Threat level will earn your 35 Wolf’s Honor.

However, the fastest way to get Wolf’s Honor in Diablo 4 is to open Helltide Mystery Chests, as each chest rewards 100 Wolf’s Honor. Just open the map and look for the chest icon with a question mark on it.

In the first few World Tiers, they will appear as Tortured Gift of Mysteries, and opening each chest will cost you 100 Aberrant Cinders, which are Cinders you get from killing enemies during Helltide events.

In World Tier 3 and 4, there are several types of Mystery Chests that will spawn and reward different amounts of Wolf’s Honor when opened, instead of a fixed 100. So I recommend opening those chests where Aberrant Cinders cost more.

Using Baneful Hearts you collect to summon Blood Maidens will speed up the rate at which you gather Aberrant Cinders to open chests. If you defeat a Hellborn on World Tier 3 or 4, Profane Mindcage it drops can also be used to increase the rate at which Aberrant Cinders drop over the next 60 minutes, at the expense of increasing the level of the enemies you face.

You can also speed up the rate at which you earn Wolf’s Honor in Diablo 4 through Season Blessings if you assign Smoldering Ashes you unlock through Season progression to Urn of Iron. Each level of Urn of Iron boosts your reputation with Iron Wolves in Helltide event by 5%, stacking up to level 4 for a +20% boost.

    Farming Tips

Farming Wolf’s Honor is not only important for your main character, but it can also be handy for your alts, as the rewards you earn from Iron Wolves can be earned multiple times across multiple characters. This means you can easily get extra Resplendent Sparks and Uber Unique items simply by earning Iron Wolves Reputation and getting rewards from the board.

But what can you do to maximize your Iron Wolves reputation, and how can you get Resplendent Sparks as quickly as possible? Obviously, you have to go into Helltides, but there are some very handy tips that can greatly speed up the process:

    1. Go back to World Tier 2, even if you are a higher-level character. The reputation you get for completing any objectives is the same regardless of World Tiers, and you will kill monsters and bosses faster on World Tier 2.
    2. Equip Profane Mindcage, which will increase the level of monsters. But more importantly, you will get more Cinders from them, and the demon bar in the upper right corner will fill up faster, which will let you kill more monsters.
    3. Use Elixir of Holy Bolts. This Seasonal Elixir can be obtained from Alchemist for 350 Murmuring Obols, and it speeds up the farming process even more.
    4. Farming Blood Maidens continuously takes about 45 minutes. During this time, you will not only gain a reputation from Maidens, but you will also collect hundreds of Aberrant Cinders. Each Maiden killed will give you about 200 reputation points.
    5. Note that in the last minutes, open all Tortured Gift of Mysteries on the map, so that you can get more reputation, about 120 points per chest.
    6. In the last few minutes, kill Maidens a few more times if you can. This way you can gain about 9000 reputation points per hour, which is the reputation required to reach the last level of Wolf’s Honor.

    Rewards

Iron Wolves Encampment is located in Kehjistan region, northeast of Gea Kul, west of Imperial Library. There should already be an active portal there, so you can use fast travel to get there quickly from anywhere in Sanctuary.

Once in Encampment, find Iron Wolf Field Commander, Soudeh the Anvil and talk to them, and your current Wolf’s Honor Rank and progress towards the next rank will be displayed.

If you move down to the section below, you can claim any rewards you’ve unlocked with Wolf’s Honor in Diablo 4.

Some of these rewards are chests that, when opened, will drop legendary weapons and armor relevant to your class, while others offer Tempering Manuals that unlock new recipes for Tempering upgrades.

When redeeming them, you’ll also receive resource items and elixirs that can be used to boost you during Helltide, so be sure to check out their effects and use them when fighting Hell’s monsters.

That’s all you need to know about completing Wolf’s Honor progression system. Go ahead and give it a try. You’ll have fun with these coveted rewards!

  • In-Depth Guide To The Complete Diablo 4 Season 4 Loot Reborn Storyline

Are you happy with how Diablo 4 is doing so far? Diablo 4 Season 4: Loot Reborn just launched a few days ago, and I’m really happy with how this season turned out and how much there is to do in this game right now.

Here, we’ll cover the story of Season 4, which includes meeting and joining Iron Wolves, defeating some demons, and going on a lot of Helltides. At the end, I’ll share my thoughts and opinions on the story itself and some changes that have happened during this new season. Let’s get started.

    Character Creation

You might be used to season names like Season of Blood or Season of the Construct, but this time, the season name is just Loot Reborn. Why, you might ask? Because loot is the most important factor of this season. It always should have been, in my opinion.

Now, as always, let’s start with character creation. Choosing a class has never been hard for me, because I’ve been a Necromancer player since I got my hands on Necromancer in Diablo 2. And in this season, Minions are really strong. So I decided to go with the teal-themed Necromancer, giving it that reaper look that every Necromancer wants.

    Main Story Begins

After creating our character, we will skip the campaign and go straight to Seasonal Realm on World Tier 2 difficulty. Obviously, as the game suggests, we have to raise Hell ourselves and talk to Doomslayer Pira. Let’s see what she wants and ask her about Helltides.

    Call Of The Wolves

Our first mission is to fight in Helltide. Starting this season, Helltides can be played on any World Tier, not just Tier 3 and 4, so let’s go explore and fight some demons.

As you can see, when fighting demons in Helltide, they drop Medallion Shards. We have to collect enough shards to remake a Medallion and then present it to the leader of Iron Wolves.

Once we have collected enough shards, we go to Iron Wolves Encampment to talk to Soudeh. Once there, we’ll hear her celebrate her victory over Hellborne.

After listening to her inspiring speech, it’s time to ask some questions. We’ll start by asking her questions about Medallion, and then we’ll ask her some general questions to get a better understanding of who she is and why Iron Wolves.

    How To Improve Reputation?

Now that we know the background, we can move on to the major story. But before that, let’s take a look at the Reputation board for this season.

As you can see, in order to advance the story, we have to improve our reputation with Iron Wolves. Every time we improve our reputation, we’ll be rewarded with items and materials.

So, how do we improve our reputation? We have to go back to the Helltides and kill and exterminate demons. By doing this, we can not only improve our reputation but also get cool Diablo 4 items!

I’m not going to show that kind of empty, boring gameplay here, so I’ll skip reputation grinding until we have reputation rank 1.

    Wooden Wolf Quest

Since we now have Rank 1 reputation with Iron Wolves, we can go back to Soudeh and talk to her. She trusts us enough to even tell us a secret!

Now let’s focus on Wooden Wolf Quest and track down the missing caravan. Eventually, after a long journey, we find the missing caravan. There, we discover that these Iron Wolves are mad and they hear demonic voices that tempt them to betray their comrades for power.

We can’t let this happen, so we’ll follow the clues and investigate Cultist’s Den. Once inside, we’ll find some cultists who are performing some kind of ritual. After defeating them, we can search around and find out more about how Iron Wolves view their deal with the devil.

From the rituals and sacrifices they perform, we can only imagine that they are trying to summon a powerful demon to this world to give them more power. But for now, let’s go back to Soudeh and tell her what we know.

    A Gift Of Robes

After going through many Helltides and defeating a bunch of demons, we finally reached reputation rank 5 among Iron Wolves. Now let’s go back to Soudeh and talk to her. Maybe she has a new idea about how to stop Iron Wolves that betrayed her.

Next we will start the quest, A Gift of Robes. Since another Iron Wolf has lost himself, we have to go looking for him. This time in Fractured Peaks.

Once there, we have to look for Telan deep in the forest. He has also accepted the deal and fell victim to the voices, so we have to get rid of him the way we know best. After defeating him, we will go back and report our findings to Soudeh.

    A Voice In The Night

Is it possible that even Soudeh has fallen victim to the voices of the demons? What should we do about this? We are ready to put an end to this at all costs. However, not until we reach rank 9 with Iron Wolves.

To do this, we need to talk to Soudeh again and listen to her plans for the whole situation. The demons seem to be getting louder and louder, and we are running out of time, but Soudeh’s plan might actually work.

Soudeh asks us to meet her at a designated location to continue our journey against the demons. This is where the demons are summoned, or more precisely, the dungeon. I will skip some dungeons before we get to the demons, because honestly, it’s just a dungeon and nothing special happens here. However, during our stay in the dungeon, Soudeh will occasionally talk to our protagonist.

After a lot of fighting and corridor exploration, we will find the demon that has been tormenting Soudeh and the other Iron Wolves. Or, more precisely, this is the demon encounter. It is not as difficult as I thought. Now that we have dealt with the demon, we can talk to Soudeh again before the end of this season’s story after returning to the camp.

    Outro

With this, the story of this season ends. Of course, as a player, we still need to visit Soudeh to get rewards that improve our ranking or reputation among Iron Wolves, because this is the whole mechanism of this season.

Now, let’s talk about the actual situation of this season. Everything the developers did with Loot Reborn should have been in the game from the beginning. However, in order to achieve that, we had to sacrifice the narrative aspect of the season. If you’re a story lover like me, you’ll notice the difference compared to previous seasons, especially Season 3. In my opinion, this is the best season story yet.

Overall, I’m not disappointed with this season, but I’m a little sad that in order to get such a wonderful rework for loot, we had to give up the narrative aspect of the content. Anyway, this is pretty much my only complaint about this season. As for the rest of the season, the items, the gameplay, the ending, everything feels great!

  • Knowing These 8 Key Tips Early In Diablo 4 Season 4 Will Make Your Journey Smooth!

In this guide, I want to talk about 8 important tips that you need to know early on when you play Diablo 4 Season 4. Whether you are a new player or a veteran returning to the game, you will find them valuable. Without further ado, let’s get straight to it!

    1. Turn On Your Auto-Cast

You can auto-cast abilities in Diablo 4. Auto-casting skills do not require any macro, special mouse or external software. You can turn on an auto-cast with the simple use of your keyboard.

First, go to Options, then Controls window and assign the secondary button for the skill you want to auto-cast to one of the number pad buttons.

Next, with Numlock function turned on, hold down the designated number key and press Numlock button to turn the function off, and there you go. Your character will now auto-cast skills when they are ready! To disable auto-cast, simply turn on Numlock and press the skill button again.

    2. Collect Season Journey & Iron Wolves Rewards

The second thing I want you to know early on is that Season Journey rewards are account-wide, while Iron Wolves rewards are character-based. So when you level up your first character, you might be wondering which Seasonal rewards to claim now, and which to save for later, or for your alts? You certainly want to claim all of Iron Wolves rewards as soon as you unlock them.

Each character can level up and claim their own rewards from this vendor. Iron Wolves reward tier also seems to be tied to your tier when you unlock them, not your tier when you open the box. So basically there’s no need to hesitate.

When it comes to Season Journey rewards, things are a little trickier, because they’re account-wide. This means that if you pick up some Season Journey Chapter rewards for your first character, but let’s say you decide to switch classes, you won’t be able to get Season Journey rewards on that new character.

Generally, this isn’t a big deal, except for the cool Legendary and Unique items that might drop from rewards caches. Luckily, there are a ton of Diablo 4 items dropping in Season 4, so don’t lose any sleep over it.

    3. Favorite Feature

My third tip for you is this: use Favorite feature. You can mark Aspects and Items as Favorites. When you mark that Aspect as a Favorite, and you select Legendary Aspects from Codex of Power, it will show up first. This is a big quality of life thing, because you’ll be switching Legendary Aspects repeatedly over time. Here’s how I like to use this feature.

When I start a new character and have an idea for a skill or build I want to use, I go to Collection section in the pause menu. This is the only place you can mark an Aspect as a Favorite. On PC, marking is done with the space bar, by the way.

I then go through all the available Aspects and mark the ones that seem to work for my build. This takes a little of upfront work, but can make your life a lot easier in the long run. So you don’t have to search for specific Legendary Aspects every time you want to switch items. That’s a lot of hassle.

Now let’s talk about a piece of gear. You can also mark them as Favorites to avoid accidentally selling good items to vendors or to stop you from mass salvaging items at Blacksmith.

To mark a piece of gear, hover over the item and press the button that marks the item as junk twice! The first press marks the item as junk, while the second press marks it as Favorite.

Personally, I like to mark all of my current gear as Favorites to prevent accidentally losing items when trying different gear.

    4. Making Seasonal Potions

Moving on to the next tip, you can make Seasonal Potions with Murmuring Obols. If you haven’t used Seasonal Potions yet, definitely give it a try!

Holy Bolt is a particularly powerful elixir, as it turns you into a permanent artillery machine. Obols are the currency you normally used to gamble for items. You can get Obols from Helltide Chests.

Considering you’ll probably be using Helltide all the time, you’ll accumulate a lot of Obols pretty quickly. Once you have a pleasant set of gear, it’s a good time to spend some Obols on making potions.

Be aware though, at 350 Obols per potion, the cost is pretty high. But I still recommend using Holy Bolt. Despite the high cost, the power gain justifies the cost as they can greatly increase your damage, especially when playing as a Minion Necromancer.

    5. Pay Attention To The Symbols On The Items

The next tip I have for you is to pay attention to the symbols on the items at Blacksmith. A lot of people have questions, with an inventory full of legendary items. How can you easily know which ones to sell and which ones to salvage?

Go to Blacksmith and salvage items that have a white icon on them. This icon means that Legendary Aspect on this piece of gear is either not unlocked in your Codex of Power, or the value of legendary power on the item is higher than what you have unlocked in Codex of Power. So in either case, you definitely want to salvage the item unless you don’t want to use it.

There is another red icon, which means that salvaging the item will unlock a new appearance. Unfortunately, these icons aren’t very easy to see when you have your inventory open, unless you go to an NPC like a Blacksmith or a Vendor.

Without going to an NPC, you have to hover over an item and look for an icon with a text description at the bottom of the item description. Unfortunately, this is easy to miss, especially when you have the compare feature turned on. As such, the item description rarely fits on the screen and requires scrolling down to see the icon. This is a bit annoying and I hope they change it in the future.

    6. Checking Enchanting Affixes

Continuing with tip number six, you can check possible affixes when enchanting an item! If you get a nice piece of gear but want to change one of its affixes, then you’ll need to go to Occultist and enchant that stat.

But how do you know if you should keep that new affix or keep rolling? That’s where the icon located in the top right corner of Enchanting Window comes to the rescue. It shows a list of all the possible affixes that can be rolled and their ranges! You can actually access this information on the console as well. To do this, just press “Triangle” or “Y” button in Enchanting Window.

    7. Spam Blood Maiden

Coming to tip seven, spam Blood Maiden in Helltides for tons of XP and loot!

Helltide is a great place to both level up and get tons of loot in the process. I highly recommend checking out each Helltide invaded area. There is an altar with three pillars that can be activated by inserting Baneful Hearts dropped in Helltide.

By the way, you get to keep Baneful Hearts after Helltide ends, while any unused Cinders are lost after the current Helltide event ends.

When all three pillars are activated, waves of enemies will spawn at that location. When enough demons have been defeated, a boss, Blood Maiden, will spawn. She is a tough enemy with three main mechanics:

First, she spawns Disciples, which are stronger elite monsters. You definitely want to deal with them quickly so you don’t get overwhelmed later.

She will also throw Fire Rings around random players. When you get hit by a Fire Ring, stay away from the boss and other players to avoid being killed in one hit.

Finally, she creates an ever-expanding circle that deals pretty high damage, but you can just dodge it. After defeating Blood Maiden, she will drop a lot of items, including some legendary items and crafting materials.

Just a reminder that players who contribute more Baneful Hearts to activate the pillars may get more loot. So don’t be stingy.

    8. Profane Mindcage

Since we are talking about Helltide, let’s talk about the last tip we need to know, which is to use Profane Mindcage to increase XP and Cinders you get.

Profane Mindcage increases the level of enemies in Helltide by 10 levels for 60 minutes! As far as I know, being 10 levels higher than you is the upper limit of extra XP you can get in Diablo 4, so this boost works well.

Using Profane Mindcage is a great way to level up faster and get a lot of Cinders. Don’t be too stingy, because you’ll be dropping Profane Mindcage in Helltide, anyway.

Here are a few things to consider: First, the boost lasts for 60 minutes, so activate it when you’re planning on having a longer session.

Next, dying while Profane Mindcage is activated will disable the boost, so use it when the current Helltide enemies don’t pose much of a threat.

Also, enemy level caps at 50 in World Tier 1 and 2. So if you’re in that tier and level is above 40, there’s no point activating this boost.

These are the 8 things I wish I’d known when I started playing Diablo 4 Season 4 a few days ago. Regardless, hopefully these tips will save you precious time and make your journey through Loot Reborn season smooth and frictionless.
