10 more healthy and hearty soup recipes to keep your warm and fill your tummies. All are easy to make, healthy and most importantly delicious!

It’s winter time and to me that means it’s soup weather. I was looking through my recipes on this blog and realized I have a heck of a lot of soup recipes! I’ve already did a roundup last year of 10 Healthy Hearty Winter Soup Recipes and now I’ve rounded up 10 more. I can honestly say I really like all of these. I like me a hearty soup and many of these soup recipes can be a meal in of itself. Also in many cases they are low carb and some are Paleo but most important they are all easy to make and taste delicious. So here we go.

This was a redo of an older post. In this version of pumpkin soup, I mixed in some cauliflower puree to make it creamier without the calories. The sweetness of the pumpkin, the spiciness of the sausage and the creaminess of the cauliflower made for a tasty and healthy low carb soup.

I learned about this soup from my step daughter. It’s so good and it’s very easy to make. I used salsa verde I had made in the summer time and froze, but you can use store bought if you like. Frozen roasted corn, rotisserie chicken and a little bit of pumpkin make a very easy and flavorful combination.

I’ve been making this soup for years because it’s my husband’s favorite. The meat is so tender, the barley is hearty and the mushrooms and carrots are swimming in a savory tomato broth. This is truly a hearty soup! And it’s delicious too.

Easy Italian Tortellini Soup

I made this one recently for my son. I kind of threw things together for a quick dinner and it turned out fabulous! I used already prepared tortellini and meatballs and just added some veggies to a marinara-like broth. It’s filling enough to be a meal.

I was in the mood for a creamy chicken and mushroom soup one day and thought I’d try to use the cauliflower cream sauce I use in my Paleo Chicken Pot Pie soup recipe below. It turned out great! It’s very healthy and tasty and it just happens to be dairy free. This was another happy experiment for me.

Cheesy Zucchini Soup

This soup was born out of an overrun of zucchini this summer. I made so many zucchini dishes I could easily do a zucchini round up. This is a simple but surprisingly tasty soup. And when you top it with cheese you really can’t go wrong, can you? 😉

This is a recipe from my husband’s side of the family. I had never heard of it before. It’s what his mom would make after they finished a ham. She would take the bone and make stock and then make this dish. We just had this last week and I made my hubby make it this time. He did an excellent job though my picky father in law was not happy with the bowl he put his in. 😛

Paleo Chicken Pot Pie Soup

This is another one of my favorites! As a kid I always like chicken ala king. My mom never made it and I don’t know where I learned chicken ala king but it reminds me a bit of this soup. This soup is also like a chicken pot pie with out the dumplings or biscuit topping. I made it a Paleo-ish version. Using cauliflower cream instead of flour to thicken it’s a healthier option to the traditional pot pie.

This soup has pizazz and it’s low carb! I never realized how much flavor hot Italian sausage can bring to a soup. I think I made this one because we had a lot of leftover banana peppers from our garden and I wasn’t in the mood to stuff them. So I made a soup of them and voila…a delicious, spicy soup.

Spring Vegetable Soup

So I’m ending this round up of soup recipes with a spring soup. It’s light and flavorful and you can make it any time of the year. The broth is made with ginger and lemongrass and when the cold weather is getting to you, whip this up and wish for Spring! Well thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoy this round up of healthy hearty soup recipes from my site. Winter is the perfect time to sit down with a bowl of soup, some crusty bread and the company of your loved ones (or a good book).
